Bergmann Antriebssysteme is a tier-1 automotive supplier headquartered in Munich, producing transmission housings and drivetrain assemblies for eleven OEM platforms across Germany, France and Czechia. Our machining hall runs around the clock, turning forgings into precision-toleranced housings for customer assembly lines. Position Overview: we are hiring a CNC Machine Operator for Line 3 (5-axis machining centres, housing family HG-40) on a rotating 3-shift pattern (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00 / 22:00–06:00). What you'll do: - Machine setup: load fixtures, set offsets and run first-piece checks before releasing a batch - Process monitoring: hold cycle times to the 94-second takt target and flag drift before it becomes scrap - Quality checks: measure critical dimensions with calipers and a CMM at set intervals, log results in the shift book - Housekeeping: leave the cell 5S-compliant for the next shift Qualifications: - completed vocational training as a machinist (Facharbeiter) or 1–3 years of equivalent shop-floor experience - comfortable reading technical drawings and basic GD&T - German B1 for shift handover; safety instructions are also posted in English Why join us: Line 3 has run under 1% scrap for two quarters, and both current shift leads started at a machine like this one.
